A Brief History of McNaughtan's Roadstud Division
In the 1990's Lynkor, a Kwa-Zulu Natal based company, was the dominant supplier of road studs in Southern Africa,as evidence by the large number of Lynx ( aluminium ) studs still on the road today.
In mid 2000 McNaughtan's purchased the manufacturing and marketing rights from Lynkor for the Lynx aluminium roadstud and also secured Swarovski's supply agreement for their hotly sought after 43 and 23 reflectors.
Since then McNaughtan's has established itself as a prominent player in the market, being extremely committed to servicing both their customers as well as investing considerably in Research and Developement. The latter has culminated in some exciting products such as the Ferro Lynx A200 galvanised cast iron stud.
